What Is the Become Event?
The Become Event is the fourth and final gathering in The Behold Experience, where everything comes together. This event is designed to help women live confidently as disciples of Jesus and learn how to disciple other women with clarity, compassion, and courage.
Rather than focusing only on personal spiritual growth, Become equips you to walk another woman through her growth — using the Discipleship House as a simple, biblical, and practical framework for real-life discipleship.
Throughout the day, you’ll learn:
How to begin discipleship well through everyday relationships
How to cultivate a genuine, Scripture-centered community
How to walk with another woman through deeper spiritual formation
How to disciple from a place of wholeness, not overwhelm
How to recognize the room of the House where you’re strongest — and where God is inviting you to grow
Each session is rooted in the life of Jesus, who models every room of the House — the Yard, the Porch, the Foyer, the Living Room, the Kitchen Table, and the Prayer Closet.
The Become Event will give you not only the vision for discipleship, but the tools, language, and confidence to step into your calling as a woman who leads, loves, and forms others in Christ.
Come ready for teaching, reflection, community, and a powerful commissioning moment called “Called by Name,” where every woman receives a blessing tied to the meaning of her name in Hebrew — a reminder that God sees you, knows you, and sends you with purpose.
Session Highlights
Explore Your Identity and Purpose: Inspire, Equip, and Empower
-
(Crossing the Street, the Front Yard, the Front Porch, and the Welcome Mat)
Dropdown paragraph:
In this session, we explore how discipleship begins long before anyone opens a Bible. Jesus models a way of living that notices people, listens well, honors their stories, and creates safe spaces for spiritual conversation. You’ll learn how to “cross the street,” engage with curiosity in the Front Yard, welcome others on the Front Porch, and offer the kind of hospitality that naturally opens the door to deeper discipleship. This is practical, relational, everyday formation — the beginning of helping another woman grow in Christ. -
(The Foyer, the Living Room, and the Kitchen Table)
This session helps you understand how discipleship deepens as women grow in the foundations of faith, share life in authentic community, and gather in small, intentional groups centered on Scripture. You’ll explore Jesus’ examples of teaching, table fellowship, and core-group formation. Through personal stories and practical tools, you’ll learn how to guide another woman from basic biblical understanding to meaningful spiritual friendship and deeper study — all within the beautiful movement of the Discipleship House. -
The Prayer Closet, Pantry, and Laundry Room)
In this final session, we turn inward — exploring the emotional and spiritual spaces where transformation truly takes root. The Prayer Closet teaches us intimacy with God; the Pantry and Laundry Room guide us into confession, healing, repentance, and restoration. Drawing from Jesus’ tender interactions with His disciples and His rhythms of solitude, we’ll learn how to walk with another woman through the deeper, more vulnerable parts of discipleship with wisdom, gentleness, and Holy Spirit guidance.
Workshops: The Behold Path
Formation Moments: Preparing Your Heart & Putting It All Together
-
Before the event officially begins, this guided workshop helps you prepare your heart, mind, and body for the day. You’ll explore how Jesus forms whole people — spirit, mind, and body — and how the Discipleship House gives us a simple, powerful way to understand our own discipleship journey. This session creates space to slow down, breathe deeply, and enter the day with intention.
-
After the main teaching sessions, you’ll enter a guided time of reflection designed to help you identify where you currently “live” in the Discipleship House. Whether you’re most comfortable in the Yard, the Porch, the Living Room, or the deeper interior spaces, this workshop gives you space to listen to the Spirit, recognize your strengths, notice areas of growth, and discern where God may be inviting you next. It’s a quiet, grounding moment to process all you’ve learned before moving into the commissioning.
-
The day concludes with a meaningful commissioning moment where each woman receives a Hebrew name blessing — a spoken reminder that God sees you, knows you, and calls you into a life of discipleship with purpose and confidence. This is your send-off: a sacred moment of affirmation and identity as you step into becoming a woman who walks others toward Jesus.
What You’ll Take Away
Live confidently as the woman God designed you to be — and help others do the same.
By the end of the Become Event, you will leave with:
A clear understanding of the Discipleship House and how each “room” represents a stage of spiritual growth.
A practical framework for discipling another woman, from first conversation to deeper spiritual formation.
Tools to begin and nurture meaningful, Christ-centered relationships rooted in Scripture and the example of Jesus.
Insight into your own discipleship journey — where you are in the House and where God may be inviting you next.
Greater confidence in your identity and purpose as a daughter of God who reflects His character in everyday life.
A sense of calling and courage to live intentionally, love well, and invest in the women God has placed in your path.
This event is designed to strengthen your walk with Jesus and equip you to guide others into His presence with wisdom, gentleness, and joy.

Meg Elizabeth Brown is a writer, Bible teacher, and Hebrew Bible scholar who loves helping women encounter God through Scripture. She has been married to her best friend, Michael, for 21 years and is Momma to their three energetic boys—Titus, Elliott, and Ezra—and their joyful princess, Alice. She’s often found baking fruit pies or teaching her kids to cook so they’re fully equipped for dinner and dessert duty.
After planting a church in Fayetteville, Arkansas, in 2013, Meg felt a deep pull to study God’s Word more intentionally. That journey eventually led to The Behold Collective, where she now teaches, writes, and equips women to behold their Creator, believe in Jesus, befriend the Spirit, and become who God created them to be.
As she began teaching those who walked through the doors of their church and their home, she realized how much was lost in our English translations. She’s seeking to help uncover what’s behind our translations, as well as bring an understanding of what those ancient texts say about our lives today. In the spring of 2021, she founded the Behold Collective. At the Behold Collective, they look for “Behold Moments” in Scripture and help women apply them to their own lives. They guide women to Behold their Creator, Believe in Jesus, and Become the women that God has created them to be through Bible studies, blogs, and discipleship training.
She is a graduate of Ozark Christian College with a degree in Biblical Literature and a Master of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies with an emphasis in the Hebrew Bible and Women’s Transformational Leadership at Western Seminary. She’s currently working on a Doctorate of Ministry at Asbury Theological Seminary.
