Behold What God is Building
For the past two years, I’ve had this buzzing in my chest. Now, before you jump to, “Meg, you should probably see a doctor about that,” let me explain.
Back in 2021, when the Spirit led me to start the Behold Collective, I only had an inkling of what He had planned. But He did give me this image: a picture of women from all walks of life, smiles on their faces, walking toward a table with swords strapped to their backs. I had no idea what it meant… except that it explained why He kept nudging me toward the word Collective. (If you’re curious about why we’re so passionate about the word, behold, head here next…)
Behold The Shift
There are seasons where you can feel something shifting. It’s been gradual. I first sensed it when our new Behold team met to pray through 2025. I knew that God was intentionally weaving something together that He’d been orchestrating in the background. It felt like a foundational season to stand upon.
That’s the season we find ourselves in right now.
Over the past year, we’ve been praying, building, testing, and refining what it looks like to truly disciple women in a way that is both deeply rooted in Scripture and actually livable in everyday life.
And now, we’re stepping into a new phase.
Where We’re Going
At the heart of everything we’re building is this:
The Behold Collective exists to help cultivate a movement of women who make disciples.
Not in a vague or surface-level way.
But in a way that is anchored in Scripture, formed over time, and lived out in real life.
We are currently developing a full discipleship pathway that moves through four key movements:
Become → Behold → Believe → Befriend
This isn’t just content. It is a pathway that can form women to behold God, understand who He is, and in doing so, finally understand who they are, and what He’s created them for.
The Behold Discipleship Pathway is designed to help women move from:
confusion to clarity (Behold)
striving to surrender (Believe)
fragmentation to wholeness (Befriend)
Become — Where Formation Begins
Behold. Be Formed. Go Make Disciples.
The journey begins with the Become Retreat. Become is a catalytic, immersive retreat designed for women who long to live and lead from depth, not burnout. It is where discipleship shifts from something you attend… to something you live.
Over the course of this experience, women are guided through the Discipleship House™, discovering how Jesus forms His people through:
Right belief (Head)
Right practice (Hands)
Rightly ordered love (Heart)
This is not about adding more to your life. It’s about learning how your life was created to be lived out, and where God may be asking you to grow. We believe that it is through what we know about God (Head), how we feel about Him and others (Heart), and how we put those things into practice (Hands) that true disciples are formed.
Become marks the start of an awakening to a new way of viewing discipleship. Through Scripture, teaching, and guided reflection, women begin to see:
Who God is
who they are in Him
and how their lives can be integrated, not fragmented
You will leave with:
A clear vision for whole-person discipleship
Clarity on where God is inviting you next (Head, Heart, or Hands)
A defined next step into the Behold formation pathway
Access to upcoming intensives and curriculum
If you’ve been feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure where to begin… this is your place to start.
What Comes Next
Become is the gateway. It’s an annual kick-off event for women in leadership and ministry to come, be equipped, and receive a roadmap for cultivating discipleship in their own contexts.
From there, women are invited to step into deeper formation through three focused intensives:
BEHOLD: Head of the Home — Deepening biblical understanding and theological formation
BELIEVE: Hands of the Home — Practicing relational discipleship with clarity and courage
BEFRIEND: Heart of the Home — Cultivating inner alignment through prayer, healing, and accountability
Each intensive includes a 12-week curriculum designed to move women from inspiration into sustainable, everyday discipleship.
Together, this pathway equips women to become whole disciples…
who can confidently walk others through the House™, room by room.
What We’re Building Behind the Scenes
Right now, we are in a focused season of writing and development. We may appear a little quieter than usual (a.k.a., our blog cycle will slow down for the time being), but know that it means we are in the process of writing, creating, and marketing what God is directing.
We are creating our first full curriculum: BEHOLD: A Good God, written on Genesis 1–3. We plan to release it in the Spring of 2027, accompanied by a one-day intensive workshop.
Why Genesis? Because, at the Behold Collective, we believe that beginnings matter.
We trust that if we don’t understand (Head of the House™) who God is, who He created, what it means to be a human made in His image, and what went wrong, then everything else feels disconnected.
The BEHOLD: A Good God curriculum is being built to help women:
see God clearly
understand their identity
recognize the patterns of the fall
and begin walking in truth and freedom
Alongside this, we are developing:
event sessions, future intensive workshops, and teaching assignments
participant experiences that are immersive and intentional
clear messaging around the full Behold Discipleship Pathway
Everything is being built with one goal in mind: To create something that is reproducible, transferable, and deeply transformative.
We care and ache for the local church, and it is our desire to provide something of value, to offset ministry fatigue, to equip those who know that God is pushing them into something new, and to support the church in their discipleship efforts.
What’s Coming Next (Blog Series)
We’re also preparing to launch a new blog series. This next series will focus on something we haven’t fully explored yet: The Holy Spirit — and what it actually looks like to live with Him. We don’t walk to just understand Him. We want others to know what it means to walk daily with Him, to pray continually (constant conversation with Him), hear His voice and know His direction distinctly, and to befriend the Spirit.
This is the heart piece of discipleship (aka BEFRIEND). Over the past two years, we’ve walked through two blog series on how to follow Jesus as King (BELIEVE- Hands of the House™) and the Goodness of God (BEHOLD: Head of the House™). Through biblical teaching, practical application, personal reflection, and stories that help bring it to life, we hope and pray that you’ll begin. to understand how to befriend the Spirit that already lives within you.
If you’re not already on our email list, now is the time to join (there’s a link at the bottom of this page). This series is going to shape how we live, not just what we know.
Our Heart Behind All of This
At the core of everything we’re doing is a deep desire: That women would fully grasp what God’s Word has for them. The word “Collective” makes so much more sense to me now. God is gathering women from all walks of life to cultivate a movement of women in leadership and ministry who make disciples. We long for the day when those around us are not just reading their Bibles, or even studying them. But understanding it with their whole beings, and are being transformed by it.
We want women to:
Behold their Creator (know who He is)
Believe in Jesus (Putting their trust in Him through their actions)
Befriend the Spirit (Learn to build a relationship with Him so that they can in turn, build relationships with others)
and Become the Women That God Has Created Them to Be.
A life that is not pulled in a hundred directions, but integrated.
Head. Heart. Hands.
What you believe
What you love
How you live
When those three begin to align, something changes. There is finally clarity, shalom, and purpose. Not because life has magically become easier, but because your footing is on solid ground.
An Invitation
So, if you’ve been longing for something deeper… if you're a ministry leader wanting direction… or if your faith has felt disconnected, confusing, or hard to live out. We invited you to join us for the BECOME Retreat. Join our newsletter or the Behold Sisterhood to be the first to receive updates on the BECOME Retreat, curriculum releases, and intensive workshop dates.
We couldn't care less about building a social media platform or presence. We desire to partner with God in cultivating a movement of women who make disciples of Jesus.
