So what? Now What?

Identity Edition: A Journal for Biblical Analysis and Application

  • So What? Now What? is a topical journal for Biblical discovery. Designed with enough Scripture to fill a month of daily devotion, this journal gives the user space to work out meaning and discover how the Word applies to daily life. The focus of the Identity Edition is exploring who we are in Christ.

  • Heather Delores is a work-in-progress who falls deeper in love with Jesus every day. As a single mother of five kids, Heather has a front-row seat to the many ways God develops a person! She’s had her share of heartache and struggle: two marriages, the pain of adultery, rheumatoid arthritis, abandonment, and rejection. Yet each of those hard things has revealed to Heather the goodness and faithfulness of God, the true and abundant friendship of Jesus, and the fortifying power and imminence of the Holy Spirit.

Once upon a time, she was an English teacher. Her years in education include several working with college writers, editing their papers, and teaching them to revise. God has given her two dream opportunities: to teach her four school-aged kids at home and to put her love of words to work as she writes a novel.

Heather’s greatest passion is discipleship. As the women’s pastor of her church, she has the privilege of walking alongside her fellow church members, encouraging and teaching them to treasure God’s word and seek Him in it. Forever a student, she continues to study through her courses to develop her skills in reading and teaching Scripture.

She can see God's faithfulness and deep love through all the things that have brought Heather to this time and place. He continues to open doors that allow her to share her enthusiasm for and unshakable faith in God’s word with others, and she can think of no better way to spend her time.
