Ever skipped over a well-known Bible verse? Because... well... you already know it?

Most of us, even the general public, have seen and heard Jeremiah 29:11 quoted, or written onto walls and artwork. The problem is... do we really understand what this means for us today? Are we looking at this Scripture through our modern-day lens? Or through the lens of the culture and history of whom this book was written?

At a time when the Israelite people had no hope, after being exiled to Babylon, the prophet Jeremiah preached a message of peace and hope. He pointed to a new way of life for the people and asked them to behold what their God was going to do next.

In this Bible study, using three Hebrew words from Jeremiah 29- Shalom (Peace), Qavah (Hope) and Hinneh (Behold), one will learn how to seek peace, accept hope and behold what God has planned.
