About Meg Elizabeth Brown

Hi, I’m Meg — a Bible teacher, discipleship mentor, author, speaker, and founder of The Behold Collective. I believe that the Word of God is rich and alive, that women are meant to know it deeply, and that our “Behold Moments” — even in the mundane — can reshape our entire lives.

I’ve got one foot in theology and the other in the creative world. With a Master’s in Biblical and Theological Studies (emphasis on the Hebrew Bible and Women’s Transformational Leadership), I help women move from feeling spiritually stuck to confidently studying Scripture, walking with Jesus, and discipling others.

But I’m not just about the classroom — I’m about the kitchen table, the podcast mic, and the tea shop. Literally. I’m also the author of The Sewn Sisters Series — stories steeped in grace, where the tea is hot, the sisterhood is deep, and the healing feels real.

Whether I’m hosting a Behold Experience event, unpacking Scripture on The Behold Table podcast, or walking alongside women in our Behold Sisterhood, my heart is the same:

To help you behold your Creator, believe in Jesus, befriend the Holy Spirit, and become the woman God created you to be.

Meg Elizabeth Brown

  • Founder

In 2021, Meg found herself at a crossroads. She was fully immersed in seminary and had a passion for discipleship. She felt the Holy Spirit nudging her toward something new: building a collective of women who used their gift sets, temperments, and desires to disciple other women for the Kingdom. Meg only had to say, "Yes," to the Spirit, and from there, the Behold Collective was born.

  • Author

In Meg's first year at Western Seminary, all the pieces of how God had wired her came together. She had written for her entire life, but when she took curriculum writing and Hebrew language, her graphic design background merged with everything, and her love for writing Bible studies was born. She loves uncovering what's beneath our English translations so that the whole story of the Bible comes forth.

  • Teacher

Meg is a highly interactive speaker whose relatable, surprisingly relevant Bible word studies and stories help women behold their Creator in a new way. She shares how to discover your full calling in Christ and leave equipped to disciple others. She graduated from Ozark Christian College with a degree in Bible and a Master of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies with an emphasis in the Hebrew Bible at Western Seminary. She is currently in a Doctor of Ministry program at Asbury Theological Seminary.

In 2013, Meg and her husband planted a church in Fayetteville, AR. Through the plant, Meg's passion for teaching the Bible at a deeper level was formed.

Return to the Garden: TORAH Genesis 1-3

Picture this: TWO Bible studies in ONE on Genesis 1-3 (it’s a flip book!). The Bread & Wine study is deep and digs into the original language. The Milk & Honey study is short and sweet. Depending on your season of life determines which study fits your time, desire, and experience. You decide which one to start with!

Over the years of completing Bible studies, we at the Behold Collective have found that there are different depth levels of Bible content, and depending on the season of life you are in, your Bible study habits need to change. Because of this, we decided to identify our studies by content depth so you can choose how DEEP to dive into the word of God, your spiritual walk, and the time commitment you have in THIS season. Sometimes, you may have more than 30 minutes to spend with God. And in other seasons, you may be lucky to grab 5 minutes of alone time. We get it!

The first three chapters in Genesis, let alone the entire Torah, are somewhat complicated in how they play out. That's why we've gone a step further for you at the Behold Collective. Imagine two Bible studies in one.

This study has themes of light and dark, the significance of trees and water, shame and forgiveness, rest and work, wisdom, and living as a warrior in our world for Jesus.

Seeking the Father: A Three-Part Series on Jeremiah 29

Ever skipped over a well-known Bible verse? Because... well... you already know it?

Most of us, even the general public, have seen and heard Jeremiah 29:11 quoted or written on walls and artwork. The problem is... do we understand what this means for us today? Are we looking at this Scripture through our modern-day lens? Or through the lens of the culture and history of whom this book was written?

After being exiled to Babylon, the Israelite people had no hope. The prophet Jeremiah preached a message of peace and hope. He pointed to a new way of life for the people and asked them to behold what their God would do next.

In this Bible study, using three Hebrew words from Jeremiah 29- Shalom (Peace), Qavah (Hope), and Hinneh (Behold), one will learn how to seek peace, accept hope, and behold what God has planned.

Behold! Blessed is She: Luke 1

Over 2,000 years ago, two women in different seasons of life both exchanged a joyous pregnancy celebration!

Mary and Elizabeth. Relatives...cousins? Aunt and niece? One young. One older. One married. One betrothed. One barren. One virgin. Multiple "Behold!" Moments.

Both had unexpected pregnancies and were in unpredictable situations. Both had babies destined by God and prophesied in the Hebrew Scriptures. Both humbly accepted their future and their calling.

Join us as we dive into Luke's first chapter of his Gospel on the Messiah. This Four-Week Study will draw you closer to God through being present, hearing the Good News of our Savior, believing in the power of our God, and becoming waymakers for the women around us.
